EXPERIENCE

Hudson Made | Present
creative Consultant
Under the leadership of the founder, Bill Hovard, I have been part of the creative process and online presence since its inception ten years ago. I have helped maintain the brand’s visual identity by implementing design directives for packaging, web design, styling, and photography. Utilizing my expertise in color, I implemented collection segmentation via color within the constraints of the existing product offerings. My expertise of pre and post-production process led me to oversee all mechanical phases and collaborate with printers and manufacturers. I became fluent with Shopify customization by building Hudson Made's Online Store and E-commerce infrastructure.

Hovard Design  |
Freelance Design Consultant
As a freelance design consultant for Hovard Design (formerly WL2 studios), I continued my involvement with prior clients collaborating on their marketing, branding and packaging systems. Additionally, I participated in the creative for brand identity and packaging programs for Hudson Made, Pepsi, Lipton Tea, Creel and Gow, Coldwater Creek, and Serious Dough.

WL2  |
Founder  |  Head Designer of Creative
WL2 was a partnership between myself and Bill Hovard. We were a graphic design studio creating and implementing strategic brand identities for the beauty, fashion, and retail industries. Our main clients included all divisions of the limited group of brands, working directly with EVPs of design and closely with upper management and their teams at the Limited Design Services Concept Development Department.

Birsell + Seck  |  Permanent Team Member
I have worked with Birsel+Seck for ten years as a member of their core creative team on a freelance basis. My role as graphic designer, I designed Ayse's personal website and branding, as well as advised her on her first book, Design The Life You Love. I collaborated on graphic design components for various leading global companies under the direction of Ayse as lead facilitator implementing her Deconstruction:Reconstruction© with creative heads and their teams to identify business areas that lacked potential for creative success by establishing what the brand DNA is and help build the brands methodology. Some of the workshops I work on include, but are not limited to, Converse (Massachusetts), Philips (Amsterdam), Kale (Istanbul), 3m (Minneapolis), and Tiffany & Co (New York). In 2022 I designed Ayse's second book, Design The Long Life You Love, which launched in December of that year.

Merkley & Partners  |  Design Consultant  |  Freelancer
I worked full-time as a freelancer for Merkley and partners for three years, where I was part of the in-house design team led by several creative heads. My initial role was as a designer, implementing their creative directives. Later I was part of a small team where I implemented design directives alongside the Creative Director, creating comprehensive programs for Zonnic Brand, Arby’s, and Mercedes Benz Smart Car.
